The prime objective of this guideline is to ensure that question papers for the Mid-Term CIA Examinations shall be set such that they cover the Course Curriculum as per the weightage stipulated by the University and the Learning Outcomes, as per the stated PEOs, PSOs, POs, COs and MOs, are assessed properly. The Mid-Term tests shall aim at evaluating not only the student’s ability to recall information, but also their understanding of the course, ability to apply the concepts in real life situations, analyse, evaluate and create information into a meaningful whole. The question papers must test the various levels of cognitive learning as per Bloom’s Taxonomy. This guidelines will help the question paper setters to design standard question papers that are not only in terms of layouts, test items and their formats, and question construction, but also tests the objectivity of the course curriculum as stated in the Course File.
