Second, the College is run by an Orphanage Trust that received National Award for the best Child Welfare twice in 1983 and 2008, instituted by the Ministry of Child Welfare, Government of India and adjudged as best Orphanage by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board several times. The stated Vision, Mission and Objective of the College, is in tune with this and other distinctive characteristics of the College.
