TWO DAY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AI SUSTAINABILITY AND BUSINESS TRANSFORMATIONS

The Department of Commerce, Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage (MAMO) College, Mukkam, is organizing a two-day International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Commerce on 8th and 9th January 2026 at the college campus.

The conference aims to bring together academicians, researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and students to deliberate on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping sustainable business practices, innovation, and economic development.

Inaugural Day – Thursday, 8 January 2026

The programme will begin with registration at 9.00 AM, followed by the inaugural session at 10.00 AM.

The forenoon technical session will feature Dr. Muhammad Shafi, Associate Professor, Department of Management Studies, NIT Calicut, who will deliver a talk on “Leading the Future: How Sustainability and Technology Shape Resilient Growth.”

 

Another session will be led by Mr. Ansar M.P., Founder & CEO of Note AI, on the topic “AI as Your Co-Pilot.”

Post-lunch, Dr. Soju S., Senate Member, University of Kerala and Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, SN College, Chempazhanthy, will handle a session on “Behavioral Finance & Artificial Intelligence.”

The day will conclude with paper presentation sessions by researchers.

 

Second Day – Friday, 9 January 2026

The second day will focus on the practical applications of AI in business and entrepreneurship.

 

  • Ms. Vijitha T., COO – Softronics and Director, Learning & Talent Development, CAFIT, will speak on “Human Intelligence vs Artificial Intelligence.”
  • Mr. Amjad Ali E.M., CEO, EventHex.ai, will lead a session on “Entrepreneurship & Innovation: AI-driven Start-ups and Tech-based MSMEs.”
  • Mr. Nihal Anas (Chief AI Officer & Co-founder, Elyst AI) and Ms. Fathima Shirin P. (CEO & Co-founder, Elyst AI) will jointly present a session on “Business in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
  • Dr. Reshmi R., Professor, PG & Research Department of Commerce, Farook College (Autonomous), Calicut, will deliver a talk on “Smart Consumption for a Greener Tomorrow.”

The conference will conclude with a Valedictory Session at 3.00 PM on 9 January 2026.
