SPECTRUM – 2009

The Department of Physics of M. A. M. O. College has been regularly conducting annual seminars named SPECTRUM from 2003 onwards, which is a diverse program, exploring the frontiers of physics research and its interdisciplinary relations with other fields of science. This seminar aims at the restoration of the links between the different fields in physics.

This year, the SPECTRUM 2009 will be conducted on Monday, 25th January, 2010. Prof(Dr) K. V. Jayakumar, Executive Director, CWRDM, will inaugurate the seminar. The experts from different fields of Physics will share their experiences in the seminar.

An intercollegiate paper presentation competition also will be conducted on that day.

As a part of SPECTRUM, the Physics Association is conducting an Inter School Quiz Competition for the High school students on 22nd January, 2010
