About Mohammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage College
Mohammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage College is a first Grade College affiliated to the University of Calicut as per order No.GA/DI/12029/82 dated 30-October-1982. It came into existence in the month of November 1982 and it comes under the jurisdiction of Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Calicut.

The College owes its existence to the concerned efforts made by Mokkam Muslim Orphanage Committee with (Late) Janab V. Veeran Kutty Hajee at its helm of affairs. It was really (Late) Janab V. Moideen Koya Hajee who was mainly responsible for the establishment of this institution in the loving memory of late Sri.Mohammed Abdurahiman Sahib, the veteran freedom fighter of Kerala

Though primarily intended for the education progress of the orphans of Muslim Community, the college is open to students of all communities.
